OTEGLOBE improves planning with Intelligent Financial Cubes

ATHENS, October 14, 2011 — International carrier OTEGLOBE appointed Relational to help it improve its planning processes while minimizing business risk through the implementation of up-to-date tools and processes.

The project scope was to replace all Excel files with a state-of-the-art environment based on Intelligent Financial Cubes (i-FC) planning, which modernizes and enhances the processes of planning, budgeting and forecasting by securing the speed and validity of data and reports.

i-FC provides the ability to make measurable decisions, which help in optimizing risk management and contribute towards positive future results through a quicker and better understanding of the company’s progress.

Business benefits include accurate and consolidated information to all users with extended use of dashboards, easy and familiar Excel-based UI, enhanced functionality for stronger business models, more time for analysis thanks to faster processes and advanced analysis models, single sign-on security, analysis of historical data and the elimination of errors caused by manual data transfers.
