On May 6th, more than 90 of our team members rolled up their sleeves and joined forces with HELMEPA for a voluntary beach clean-up along our local coastline. Together, we collected an impressive 4,409 pieces of debris, such as cigarette ends and plastic waste. Each piece is a powerful reminder of the environmental challenges our planet faces.
But the day was about more than just a beach clean-up. It was a learning opportunity and a chance to connect. A representative from HELMEPA joined us to share valuable insights into the impact of marine litter, the importance of ocean conservation, and how businesses like ours can make a difference through sustainable practices.
After the clean-up, our team gathered for a picnic by the sea, taking time to relax, share food and enjoy each other’s company in a more informal setting.
This initiative served as a chance not only to give back to the community, but also to reconnect as colleagues, celebrate our shared values and lay the foundation for the next chapter of our story.
