The project concerned the development of a field management subcontractor dispatching tool for fixed and mobile network, that allows task management and approval flows for Contractor’s Field Technicians. Contractor’s Back Office will host the role of dispatcher responsible to assign tasks to various Field crews.
Common Subcontractor Dispatching Tool (CSDT) is a tool provided by Cosmote, to assign various organization tasks to Contractors (i.e. Consolidation, FTTH tasks, etc.). Essentially, it constitutes the bidirectional interface to Contractors for managing various tasks of the Organization.
CSDT application has been developed in Remedy platform (referred as Cronoss), and currently hosts around 18 Contractor companies with around 200 registered users, responsible of managing tasks at Contractor’s Back Office.
User access to application is accomplished via Web interface (https) and access to organization’s network is securely accomplished via VPN/Citrix infrastructure (following contractor’s integration to OTE Domain via IDM procedure).
CSDT and Cronoss are custom Applications that are integrated with other Systems as SAP, etc.
The project was implemented based on the BMC project methodology.
